Bleak Expectations

Return of BBC Radio 4's hilarious (IMO) Victorian comedy

Thursday 6.30pm Radio4 (92.5fm for those in the South, bit higher up the scale for those in more northerly climbs! )

Enjoy!

James

That stoopid thing with the guy who gets his words wrong all the time? I can't remember what it's called either. Can't stand it! Utter rubbish!

That's the one. Terrible. "Have you ever seen a man riding a gazebo? I mean zebra?"

Not funny.

Very occassionally it has some amusing lines. But you are right. It is yet another programme where a few jokes are stretched out with padding to make a full show.

Did anyone listen to Lenny Henry's radio comedy tonight? Rudy's Rare Records, 6:30 on Radio 4.

I thought it was hilarious... last week's was even funnier...

The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make it moral.
