Malware Defense

Looks like I've caught something nasty

I keep getting prompts from "Malware Defense ". Looks like it has blocked my AVG antivirus software. Any ideas how to fix?

I've tried rubbing the cream the doctor gave me into the keyboard but makes no difference....

You have a trojan which is more like scareware to get you to buy something useless which they put there in the first place. Google 'Malware Defense' for solutions.

Second vote for malwarebytes, picked up a prob last week .
It tried to copy AVG and scare you into thinking you had trojans.
Got lucky had second machine on the network so could down load software to cd the up load to infected machine.
Why do people who are obviously inteligent do this crap!!

Yup. Third recommendation for Malwarebytes. Got rid of the nasty I accidentally got through a drive-by when I reduced my macro settings under Word
