What's the best way of getting the crank pully bolt out to fit my trigger wheel, how do I stop the engine turning, would putting it in gear do

in gear (1st maybe though it shouldn't really matter) and with handbrake on, that engine won't be turning at all

If the above does not work, remove the starter motor, put a G-clamp onto the flywheel and let it wedge against the bell housing.

why put a trigger wheel on a zetec? It has a standard trigger wheel on the flywheel. Unless you fitted a CVH one.
