Fixing Cornice to Kitchen Units - Any Advice?
I've got to fit some cornice around the kitchen units and have a mitre saw to cut the joints but wondered about how best to bond them.
In the past I used PVA and added some temporary pins but have seen a product called something like "Mitre Bond" in ScrewFix. Is this any
good or would the apparently instant bond make fixing the cornice more difficult?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
John.

cupboard.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

JoelP is the kitchen dude, so he will have a good method, I'm just a common or garden joiner who's been off the tools for a number of
years now.
Anyway, when I do it, I get the mitre cut and fitted, use the instant fix adhesive and activator to fix the joint off the cabinets, then sit the
assmbled and glued joint in position and usually fix it from the inside of the cabinet with some screws.
I don't do enough work to have a paslode gun, but I can imagine that one of those might be handy for blind fixing to the carcass from the
top.
I'm sure there's a better way that I haven't yet thought of though, so I want to know too.
