Ive got one, good quality by the looks of it, havent fitted it to the gearbox yet, come to think of it, havent fitted my gearbox to me engine yet
either

Hi Carl,
Spud has one on his Roadster, its a great bit of kit.
I think Rally Design sell them cheaper at approx £15.
(race/fast road version one to go for)

They are quite good, although you may need a turret extension on a standard locost as they are rather short

No, didn,t need an extension, tho depends how far forward you have placed your gearbox in the chassis.
If you,ve placed it so that the reverse light switch on the box is behind chassis tube number TT4 you,ll have no problem fitting one.

This is why this is called the Locost forum. you can convert your standard gear lever to quick shift for pennies, so why pay pounds for something that
you will never see. Just IMHO Ray
To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy
