Type 9 gearbox clutch return arm cover

Hi ,
does any one have the plastic cover plate the one that goes on the type 9 box around the clutch arm to stop the crud getting in the clutch.

Never seen one, my donor didnt have one, I don't think they are needed unless your off roading!

I'm just going to use a sheet of rubber with a slot cut in it and held on the rim of the hole with a large tie-wrap. We'll see if it works when I get it on the road (eventually).

Thinking of doing something similar for the handbrake levers on my rear drums 'cos apparently the rubber covers are as rare as rocking horse poo! which is quite scarce





It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......
