Seat eligibility

Looking to buy some seats from JK composites and was wondering whether these would be eligible for use in MSA sanctioned hillclimbs or do they have to be homologated and dated?
Any info greatly appreciated

For MSA speed events there is no requirement for seats to be FIA approved.
Only restriction may be in roadgoing classes where drivers seat can be replaced with an aftermarket version but I believe it has to be fully trimmed (not just bare fibreglass or aluminium).

Here it is:
10.1.7. Road-Going Series Production and Road-Going Specialist Cars: front seats may be replaced by fully trimmed Competition versions in the interests of safety.

We run in a roadgoing class with fibreglass seats with no problem, most 7s do. I think you can get away with a lot more with a kit than a production car.
