Sierra push in driveshafts
Peeps,
I'm going to start collecting bits for changing the diff on my car and I need a pair of Sierra push-in driveshafts (from 1.8cvh 1990 if it makes
any difference).
Price is of the essence
I reckon the bmw driveshafts can be cut, and drilled (well, bored out); then slide in the Sierra shaft then weld up. Imagine sleeving but only on the
Sierra part of shaft as "sleeve" will be part of BMW shaft. Glad that's clear.

Are you wanting the inner or Outer half of the shafts?
I have a pair of sierra push in shafts withe the outer cv joints missing, if theyre any good to you?

Outer halves I need as I'll be using inners of bmw shafts. Want to keep Sierra drums/hubs etc

Why don't you do this?
Get ford flanged shafts and drill them out to fit the bm diff or the bm diff to fit the flange.
Another idea was to make a set of adapter plates to match the bm diff to the ford pattern.
Seems a better idea than sleeving shafts ...they have a nasty habit of letting go at the worst time
