Are we talking live axle, if so the original Locost was fitted with an Escort unit. I am using a live axle from a Toyota Corolla GTS (called something else in other parts of the world, I believe Levin)

Are you talking about making the wheel arches and rear panel in one piece?

Don't bother, this guy likes to keep his questions short and meaningless.

Recently he was on a camera forum asking "whch is the best lens".

I think what he means is has anyone tried to fit a westfield, tiger or striker body to a Locost.

Kindest Regards,

I'm fitting a one piece Westy body to mine, the rear on the bodywork is an inch taller than the book chassis so I got some 1x2 inch wood and Tigered it to the body. A little bit of fettling is needed in other areas but nothing major.

Well if you really are sorry about them, then ask proper questions next time, make it clear what you want to know, and give enough information so that people don't have to guess your requirements.

Oh, and you will find the search function 3 words along under the Locostbuilders logo. Lot's of useful information there for those that take the trouble to use it.

Hope that helps.

Freaky stuff! Stalking you? You should be so lucky.

Funny that the only time you can get it together to write more than a few words is when you are trying to defend yourself for having asked such prattish questions.

Next time you want the answer to a question, have a look for yourself first, then, if you haven't learned what you want to know, ask the question properly, give enough information so that people don't have to guess your requirements. In other words, stop being so bloody lazy!

Hope that helps, and next time you ask another stupid question (ie one that isn't clear, or doesn't give any context) don't be surprised if you get some more stupid answers.

please please stop .
I realise that you are a senior member of this website however this does not give you the right to bully new members who know less than you think you know.
I have noticed the same attitude with other new members and it is against the spirit of this forum and probably against the rules.
I will ask you politely again..if see a thread i have started do not feel the need to comment..move on..ignore it..pretend its not there. This harassment is very worrying. PLEASE STOP.

Oh for goodness sake stop being such a pratt!

I'm not the only one who has pointed out to you that your questions are vague and unhelpful, but I am the only one that you have decided to attack as a result, if it seems like I am picking on you that is because I am only responding to your attacks on me.

All you need to do is to mend your ways and stop asking stupid questions. Ask questions by all means, nearly everybody here does, including me. But at least make it look as if you have put a little bit of effort into it yourself. Have a look through some old threads, and use the search function (3rd fron the left under the locostbuilders logo).

Form the threads that you have started so for, it does look for all the world as if an idea as popped into your head and, instead of making the slightest effort to find out anything about it on your own, it's straight in with a vague question written in as few words as possible.

What you are doing is rude, because it shows that you don't value the other forum users time. You don't see why you should have to write a proper question, but are happy to sit back while people offer you a selection of answers from which you pick out whatever it is you want, if you haven't changed your mind again in the meantime.

Have you actually posted on anybody else's thread yet, have you made the slightest effort to actually become involved here, or are we just here to stop you from having to actually find out anything for yourself?

Oh, and by the way, this is a public forum, and neither you or I get to choose who posts what on any particular thread.
