Insurance
I am getting some stupid life insurance quotes due to racing the Locost in the series. It triples the premium.
Now I would be happy to exclude it but i cant find a company that will exclude it.
Any fellow racers have life insurance and how did you go about not trippling your premium due to the occasional race, or are you paying a hefty
premium to be covered?
Thanks, in advance!

Surely your 'normal' life insurance will cover you but exclude claims resulting from hazardous sports like racing. Getting the life cover
for the racing alone isn't terribly expensive:

Not very Locost but very BEC

Unfortunately its illegal under FSA regulations to exclude dangerous sports from life insurance policies.
So, question still stands - is everyone paying triple as they hold a race licence or have you found some way round this?
I agree its easy and cheap to get additional cover for motorsport, but thats on top of any basic policy. Its the basic policy I am talking about.
