diff. bolt loose??

Hi There,

Yesterday i took my mk indy for the dirst day drive this year, but...
Everytime when i hit the gas, or just go off the gas, i heard a clicking sound.
At the gas station i looked at the mounting bolts of the diff thru the chassis, and the lower bolt was loose. (i can rotate the bolt)
but becouse the bolt is in a slotted hole, im not sure if that bolt must be very tight??
Can i tighten the nut/bolt, so that i cant rotate the bolt anymore?

Diff should be solid mounted to chassis. Tighten the bolt.

Hole is probably slotted because it was drilled incorrectly first time.

Somebody else posted this problem a while back after a lot of looking. I can't remember the solution but I do remember that the suggestion was made of welding a washer or two one each slot so that you have a fixed hole to help eliminate that slop and click.
