Early blades - competitive?

I've come across a rgb eligible blade engine car, not sure which exact model but it's carbs so not a full fat 1000cc. Apart from the obvious issue of set up and my own skill, is this still a competitive package for class F or would I be better with r1 or gsxr 1000?

To be honest I've heard the blade motors are very good and the slight lack of power isn't obvious but what about on track?

The new RGB structure has a 919 cup running within class F, this was done to keep interest in the early blade cars and give them something to compete for. Whilst it doesnt have an award as such at the end of the season we have put up an AB prepped engine for the winner at the end of the season. That aside we have won the overall championship with a 919 powered striker in the past beating zx12, busa and all the injected 1000s in doing so, so the 919 is not out of the loop totally, in fact Al Boulton won the championship last year with one of our 919's.
well driven in a well set up car they can be very quick but the goalposts have moved a bit this year with the inclusion of the new crop of injected 1000cc engines. The pace of both the mid and front engined cars has picked up and I am guessing that the lap records will fall at virtually every round.
We sponsor the championship and attend every round with our race support truck, if you need any more info or just a chat re the series feel free to give me a bell on 01449 736633.
best regards
Andy

Thanks muchly andy

Well the car seems a bargain an at the end of the day, if I get to grips with it and decide I'm in need of more power I'm handy enough on the tools myself and my father is a mechanic so dropping in more power will be no massive feat!

Sounds good fun!!!
