Raw Striker Cage
Love the car and the roll-cage design - looks uber-aggressive. But does anyone know what the cage is like if 'tested'?
I'm not interested in whether it meets race-regs, or anything like that... just how strong the cage might (or might not) be.
It looks to me that if you landed on one of the front corners, then it might collapse into the driver / passenger space.

you would think the 2 top bars should go from the top corner of the front roll hoop to the top corner of the rear roll hoop with a pair of side bars.
but i'm no expert

Guess it depends how thick the tube is to a point..

its probably almost as strong as any cage with a slope in the windscreen hoop (which is all of them) but it doesn't look right to me.
saying that, if its not for racing, its got to be better than nothing, or just a rear hoop

Again, not an expert, but it doesn't "look right" to my mind - looks like it needs bracing from the front hoop/roof bar joints down
to the floor or back to the rear of the car. Either option would seriously impeded access though.

our sylva for comparison. Imo its only the bars linking the front hoop to the rear that are to low. I reckon mid corners would be best

I'm surprised they don't have a diagonal roof bar to prevent the cage collapsing in on itself in the event of contact with one of the
corners. And whilst I enjoy the aggressive look, I'm positive that my head would come into contact with the road if I were to flip/roll... And
although I'm not a handsome man, I'd rather keep my head where it is...

If it did land upside down on the front tube hoop - where would it go?
My non engineer view is that it would deform, but looking at the last picture you'd have to push the rear hoop backwards and the front scuttle
forwards. I then start to think - how bad is it? It looks intrinsically wrong but if the tube doesn't kink it might not be that bad.

EDIT - re read the OP, and below doesnt acctually answer you question! but i leave it up incase anyone is interested.
No Raw dont have 'a tested' cage , ie it doesnt have ROPS/FIA approval, however it does comply with blue book regs.

The main purpose of that part of the roll cage is not actually much to do with rolling IMO. It is to prevent anything that might end up coming up and
over the chassis (fence, other cars etc) from annihilating your rather vulnerable head by guiding it over the car. The main hoop is what provides the
majority of the roll protection.
