Cars you wish were rear wheel drive.
Messing about with cars and locost motoring would be much more interesting if more cars were rear wheel drive.
which cars would you buy or build/if they came in rear wheel drive.
id like a rwd Volvo S60 or a v8 muscle car Mondeo
Could always build one I suppose

Yeah - but the Marina was rear wheel drive
Mine used to squeal round corners at 20 MPH (those Michelin ZX tyres were rubbish!!)
The 1800 B-series did have a fair bit of poke though.

My first thought was the Puma, the Tigra would have been nice too.
Top end mondeos could have 4x4 on them, like the quattro series

Rover 75, I know MG had a go at making such a thing but the whole lot of them should have been. The Mk2 Seville, The car should have been RWD and the
engines should have been more powerful (top model had a 6litre V8 that made 145hp).

Oooh nice but I'd prefer a 164 Cloverleaf 3 litre . Sooooooooo nearly bought one, but after driving one I found the FWD so soul destroying
that I just had to go for the Vaux Omega instead.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

both of them have been done with the cossie running gear
there are a few places that offer it as an 'off the shelf' conversion for the mk1 focus shell

There were a few 75 RWD versions produced.....most of the cars were MG, but a few were "Rover"

RWD. FWD or 4WD should be a factory option on all cars IMO!
I do agree to a certain extent, ive had a lots of fun in over powered FWD hatches in the dry, but ive had more fun in underpowered RWD cars in the
wet!
