Good day & not so good!
Had the engine running for a short while, it then flooded & wont restart!
Please look at the video in my blog as any advice would be gratefully received!

Are you sure fuel is being injected into the bores now? you could have a problem in the fuel line pump etc even blocked injectors
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

Are the injectors plugged into the correct piston? I know, somehow, that this can happen when you do this kind of thing. Timing way off?

My money would be on fuel. Can you check fuel pressure?

Sounds like lack of fuel to me. Are the plugs wet ?

Thanks for the replys,
I am certain I have plenty of fuel as the spark plugs are wet when removed,
the fuel pressure is running at 3bar,
I am also sure that the injectors are wired up correctly as I marked them!
Still at a loss

What are the symptoms? Coughing, or nothing.
If it isn't fuel then it must be spark or air. Have you got a spark?
Give the battery a good overnight charge and try again tomorrow!

There is a spark but does look a bit week,
When the engine turns over it does cough a little as if it's trying to fire,
I have rechecked the belt timing & that also seems ok?
Still at a loss at the mo

Eazistart?
If it starts on the eazy then you know its fuel and not sparks.
If its overfueling and map is good, then it could be temperature sensor which can make things super-rich.
When it died (in the vid) it didn't sound like overfueling though.
Interesting problem.

Fizzled out, suggesting fuel. Very slow cranking which won't help anything.
I'd go with a kinked fuel line or failed pump without seeing it in the flesh.

recheck you're wiring too. i started mine last week, fired up, ran for a few seconds i switched it off though. all good tried again, turned
over, tired to fire a few times, but nothing, tried over and over again, ready for pulling all the plugs out, then noticed the negative power for my
ignition had come loose. simple, but caused all sorts of worry!
mines only on carbs, so a lot simpler wiring, can imagine injection would be a lot worse for hiding a loose wire somewhere
