Rear Lights

Hi,
I have got replacement light clusters for the rear of my re-bodied range rover but wondered where these have to go exactly.

ie. the rear end now has a small flat loading area above the rear bumper. I don't want to put the lights above the bumper line but below it on the nearside is the end of the exhaust.

so in short, do the rear light clusters need to be right at the outside edges or is there an allowed area of exception?
(like lorries etc)

Thanks

Time for a change!

Assuming it doesn't need IVA then I think you just need to be sensible, e.g. don't put them all in the middle of the car. If they are at or close to the edge, and not stupidly low, I reckon you should be OK.

Any MOT men confirm?

Check construction and use regs. (you can pass an MOT but still get pulled up on these)
