Sounds great - don't suppose you fancy sending me a U2U of where "your" house is located and how much it's costing you etc at
all please?
Would love to do a direct comparision to the cost of camping, as it just doesn't seem that cheap anymore, but I've built up such an
extensive amount of equipment that it's hard to decide against it for a cheap break...
Enjoy Newquay!

Camping isnt cheap in cornwall..
Where I go.. Pentewan Sands. Right on the beach, safe beach, no currents, no steep slopes in the water.
Private access to beach, so no public unless they know their way round it.
I camp a couple rows back, ie 50 yards from the beach cos the front pitches are another 30%
Its £35 a night, but heated indoor pool, excellent beach, bar with entertainment and well a run site.
They have a prime location and they know it.
During the school holidays they are fully booked by about January. Also 24/7 security on in the main holidays.
Security guys are good. Got to know them and their boss over the years.
If you got small kids its a brill site albeit expensive. Best to go just out of the school hols then its a little quieter for the small kids.

No connection with the company, other than as a customer of over 55 years. I first went there in 1957, have been there every year for the last 23
years (with my kids)!
I hate Newquay, full of doles scroungers and youngsters who cant hold their beer and bag snatching scumbags (they got the handbag of the lady in front
of my wife, my wife had a good hold on hers).
Perhaps i'm just getting old and crusty.
I prefer the quieter places now.
Hope you have a good holiday.
My favourite drive is the B road going along the coast southwards out of St Ives, all the way down to Cape Cornwall. Best on a sunny evening at about
8pm when the sun starts to get low, and you have beautiful views of the sea with the setting sun, and the sun shining on the hilsides.. Brill road and
views.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards
Geoff

Just as a price comparison (quick post).
I stayed at Trevella and it was £167.00 for 10 nights which I thought was amazing!
That's a heated outdoor pool and usual playgrounds etc, very clean site, but not to the level of you're suggesting...
However, the price difference is staggering, and Crantock ibeach is 5 mins in the car, and stunning, so I'd rather save the money etc...
Thanks for letting us know though!
