Wanted: TomTom please!

Hello!

I have an old TomTom but the battery has had it and the maps are years out of date. I'm looking for another cheap one please, one of the more modern thinner models would be great!

I hope to use it abroad in France so if it had that capability too that would be handy!

Thanks all

That's where I bought mine from years ago (5 yrs ago?) as a joint Xmas present between the two of us, and it's been absolutely spot on. Obviously the maps are years out of date, but I CBA to update them as the only times they are wrong (generally) are when new bypasses have been built - usually in the middle of a trip so just stay on the bypass!

When I got the deal, I searched internet and found a kind-of back door extra deal, which gave a percentage off the initial deal!

Worth checking around...

The model I bought was a TomTom XL Europe, think it cost about a £100 5 years ago...

Thank you both but it's been an expensive month and Halfrauds is a bit out of the price range. Was hoping someone might have one second hand?

You'll prob have the same prob Pants, that it needs updating and so on, why don't you just get a Garmin instead if TomTom is pushing it?
Have a really good search on the bargain/offers sites, I think you'll be surprised how much you can get one for - when I bought mine, it was £200 and I got it for £100 or thereabouts and free delivery, it was on like a back door Halfords site (no joke!) and then Google got you more money off for finding it (or somthin like that!) was really odd to find it, but one of the best things I've bought for value for use etc if you get what I mean...
