LC Race cars - Gear box
Just wondering why some of the races cars have a strange second linkage on the gear box....

Reverse box engagement on a bec?

They are all runing 1.3 xflows. Not sure if they are running type 9 boxes?

5 speed is longer so doesnt need the gear lever extension. 4 speed is also lighter, but you need the extension.
You also need different length props.
Hope that helps.

well having used both on my car, I can say i prefer the type 9 by a huge margin. I think though im the only one that uses it because it is alot
heavier and I don't weigh anything. You might need to make some adjustment to your chassis to make it fit too like I did.
