turbo replacement? From where
Hi all,
Been away yet again and to return home to find the wife's megane has blown a turbo. Any one know of a good reliable place to get a replacement?
Dont want to e-bay, would rather get a good qualtity refurb.
Any suggestions or experiences always welcome.
Its a 2004 Megane 1.9dci (ex turbo)
Thanks
Andy

Turbo Technics, Northampton.
Not had any dealings with, but they do a fair bit of development work ( I Believe, but don't quote me.).
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Been told about a turbo supplier
RENAULT MEGANE 1.9 DCi BRAND NEW TURBOCHARGER 708639-5010S / GT1749V TURBO | eBay
Any reason why I should be wary of this?? Is it a good price or is it a case of "too good to be true?""
If anyone has any reasons as to go for or not please let me know.
Thanks
Andy

Sounds cheap to me but if you get a years warranty I guess it will ok as long as the company is trading next year!
