Reported Deaths David Barby, Mary Tamm
The media particularly the BBC are so concentrating on the Olympic bore fest that they have not done much to report the sad and untimely deaths of
two cult TV figures. David Barby the antiques expert much loved by day time tv watching grannies has died of a stroke and also former Dr Who
girl from the Tom Baker era the Mary Tamm who died from cancer.

Saw both reported on the front page of yahoo. Never watch TV news though, so no idea what has or hasnt been covered.

The death of Mary Tamm was reported yesteray on the BBC Red Button dervice last night in both the 'Entertainment' and 'UK
News' sections.
I'd not heard about the other passing though.
