Odd emergency vans
Currently sat in queue on m1due to serious crash, air ambulance on way. both carriageways closed
But as we wait for air ambulance to arrive just seen five blue light transit vans shoot down north bound away from accident. Very odd markings just
black and white checks across front and two thin blue lines down the side. No writing, no badges nothing. Never seen anything like them and
can't see why'd be here. Anyone know what they are?

Might just be emergency transports - bringing in extra gear / supplies? If it's gonna be closed a lot longer they might be bringing in water /
food for all the stranded motorists..

'Private' Ambulances - might have been a very serious accident.

tee hee.
thanks for that link. have ruled out nuclear response fortunately, looks like prisoner transport. they must have had to let them through the accident
scene. got out after air ambulance left, so only half an hour after my message.
some interesting suggestions!

That's certainly where my lunatic Bomb Squad mate did his 'Blue Light' training.
He's in Afghan' now breaking records for the number of devices diffused on one tour. Did I mention that he's a lunatic?
