locost race car rear spring rates
could anyone tell me a rough starting spring rate for live axel race car rear tried 225 but car seams to snappy out of corners ???

Stuart Taylor recommended 150lb on the rear of my live-axle-car.
He said it didn't make a difference if it was for Road or Track
I fitted 275lb front and 150lb rear and I've been very happy with the handling. It seems neutral and very well balanced - I've never
detected any tendency to either understeer or oversteer.

I've got 300lbs rear, but they are angled (30 degrees I think) which all has to be taken into account along with the corner weights. I'm
sure if you post your corner weights and shocker angle someone on here will be able to give you a good starting point. My car will be a bit heavy
compared to most on here though.

Hi.
The rear will need 100Lb or 120Lb. Any higher looses traction significantly.
The only time to go higher is when very soft or slicks are involved creating greater G in the corners, Then its 150Lb - 160Lb.
Most people get totally confused however because they are running dampers valved for the weight of a saloon car and nothing like what's needed
for a light spring / high unsprung weight combo.
