Hi i had a fault with my ecu. I have replaced it and now there is no fault! but my car wont start, ive replaced the ignition barrel and key and had
the key coded, still wont start the immobiliser light is flashing ive removed the black box from under steering collum and also the little black box
from behind the fuse box the immobiliser light has gone out but still wont start theres no fuel geeting to the carb although there is fuel in the car.
What do i do now?

Just a guess but based on experience with other manufacturers I would think the ecu is uniquely coded to the security unit and engine.
Pulling the Black box will probably only work if the ecu is already coded to the engine and the security system is off and the engine running.
You need to either get your ecu decoded off the car by a specialist or you original ecu repaired.

SAXO ECU PROBLEM
Hi thanks for the info. Ive been told by a mechanic that there is a faulty wire somewhere as he had it started, he took the battery off to charge it
and now it wont start again.

When you say that it isn't starting is the engine turning over but not firing or will it not even attempt to start ?
We'll need as much information as you can give us to help

On a saxo/106 the imobiliser is a seperate unit under the dash, if you have connected the ECu before you removed it you will have locked the ECU to
that imobiliser and if you have also changed the key/transponder it will now be locked and unable to run, cant remember if it cuts the fuel or the
spark but the only way to fix it unless you have all the original gubbins is to get an unlocked ecu and make sure you deffo have the imobiliser
unplugged before you connect it or it will lock again and you will be stuck again
Hope it helps

Look for the BSI reset procedure, it might be your problem. BBA
reman do repairs to BSI units and are well spoken of.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

souds like the fuel cut off if you had it running with fuel in carb
rememeber you combustion triangle
Oxygen + Fuel + Spark
so you have all three it runs - remove fuel it stops!
Scot's do it better in Kilts.
