I'm still intrigued with this way of transporting a kit. Is it legal?

Apparently, a long as all the towed vehicle wheels are off the road and the outfit is under the braked trailer weight requirements (assuming there are no brakes on that system) then it is OK. But I am no expert so someone will be along to put me right

The story goes

I was broken in to last week and the theiving Bas:::rds took loads of gear

Dewalt chop saw hitachi inpact 18volt

brand new 12/24 volt charger with Jump/start

space heater, coils of mig wire lots of hand tools all my air tools

Brittool torque wrenches + lots of other items

unable to get Insured so lost he lot. £1500 worth

they dint bother trying to get through two strong locks they just ripped off the roof and plundered what they wanted.

Police said that they could be back for more any time so giving up the lock up and moved my car to home garage.

unable to sleep a night worrying so decided to move everthing.

Only used the tractor to lift the car of a trolly it was on but used a trailer to move it 6 miles to my home.

I borrowed the wheels from a freind.
had my wheels done satin black but got no tyres on them yet.
