I think its a G-tech my uncle has fitted to his skyline. Requires a steady hand set up due internal tilt sensor, tilt up to increase number and tilt
down to reduce number. Not the easiest bit of kit to use.
As for thier performance, I can't comment as I only had a quick go at seting it up for him, seamed to work though. Managed to record 68hp
though.

I like the look of that, seems to offer a lot of features at a good price. The RR model allows you to download all the data to your PC, I wonder if it
can plot a race circuit etc based on the G readings?
Pete
EDIT: Wow, it can plot a dyno chart and everything, not sure how accurate it would be but it's a seriously impressive piece of kit. I want
one!

Friend just bought the basic one of ebay for 55.00. put in his 2.5 v6 alfa 156, he pulled 210bhp, 0-60 5.8 secs. My other halfs honda civic pulled
210bhp. not bad for an 1.8 vti aerodeck estate
His locost pulled 112 bhp 1600 crossflow, twin webbers, hot cam. lightened flywheel. And the webbers havent even been tuned properly, jetted for
1700

forgive me, but i sound a little sceptical if a 1.8vvti honda made 210bhp, the 2ltr type r i-vtech engine only makes 197bhp in the uk
the alfa engine sounds about right though..

Myself and a friend that owns/runs a large kti car company made some crude (ish) comparisons between datron gear and the accelerometer and in perfect
conditions there was not too much difference, but a sloping road (as in at all sloping!) makes a mockery of the results!
His modified saphire cosworth recorded 5.3 somethings with both sets of equipment.
Datron are not market leaders for nothing though, their equipment is accurate! (an the GPS stuff they use now is a lot more compact than the old stuff
we had then!
