Possible VortX configuration?
Hi, still at the plotting and planning stage but impressed by the VortX and by the responses of MNR on this forum. A quick question regarding
possible configurations of the VortX -
Is it possible to specify a VortX RT+ with the inboard front suspension and without the full cage? If so, what would be the cost as a comprehensive
starter kit?
Also, does anyone have a picture of a VortX with windscreen fitted, as opposed to the wind deflector?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The windscreen is being made for the vortex by myself at the moment. The wind deflector is part of the scuttle/dash unit.
This is very differant to the scuttles other manufacturers use in that thier deflectors are seperate items that replace the windscreen.

That is the exact spec of my machine that is being "delivered" next week.
The fron screen is not quite ready yet, but I would imagine it will be finished before your build is completed going by average build durations..
My comprehensive kit was @£4000 but that was by no means complete...
Adding quite a few bits to get it as near to completion as possible would bring the total cost to closer £7000
I would suggest a trip to Donnington this weekend to conclude the final budget
Mangogrove, did marc and chris discuss with you the windscreen ideas I had when I visited last month?

Opinions are like backsides..
Everyone has one, nobody wants to hear it and only other peoples stink!

I wouldn't mind seeing a pic of the screen. I think that there was one at the last show. No-one was willing to put one on here though.
