Gone Quiet Here - You all modifying?

Why is it so quiet on here? Are you all busy fettling your cars so that I will now be an also ran?
I have the following to do just to get it legal for this season, let alone front-running!

Remove mech fuel pump
Fit:
Blanking plate
Elec fuel pump & wiring
Brake discs
Brake pads
Transponder
Fire extinguisher
Optronic kit
Steering wheel
Seat
Seat support (rear top)
Harness
Battery
Oil filter
Oil
Indicators (front)
Springs
Bonnet hole (seal gaps with ali plate under air filter)
Crank pulley
Plus full nut and bolt check

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghh

The sun is shining so i guess everyones out in their cars or going to meets like me!! Had a great morning at Box Hill with 3 brave souls arriving in their cars!

Well done lads!

Dickie,

Are you allowed Optronic?
As I read the regs, the ignition system had to be entirely within the dizzy.
Optronic system has an external box.

Yeah, it's allowed. The triggering has to be in the dizzy, and the bit outside can't be programmable (like the Lumenition performance kit).

I think we have all just come out of hibernating. I looked at the car last weekend the first time since it was put away after Snetterton, so just a clean up etc and new fire extinquiser cause I cant afford anything else at this time. Get ready for Mallory

I'm here too. Have been doing little bits on the car all winter but my carefully crafted plan went out the window when it took nearly 4 months to get my roll cage bits off the Caged people. Now i've got a mild panic trying to get it welded & fitted in time whilst doing the various other bits i had to put off until it was in place.

Bugger.

My list of winter upgrades obviously isn't as lengthy as Dickie's. Apart from sorting my brakes it's pretty much all to do with lowering my centre of gravity and polar moment of intertia. I did intend to make the car look less like a scrap heap too, but that's not going to happen now!
