Hi Just do NOT ask about results. All results will be up in a few days except the first finals which may never be known.

Cheers Matt

I managed a 11th in the first and an 18th in the second race. First time I've been out in the car in 21 months, and still running a 3 year old engine.

Should be better with new tyres and a rings/valves job.

I was there on the Saturday. Great weather, and some great racing. There was a bit of a pile up on the s bend before coming upto the mountain

Yep, that was the first red flag of that race! The second was when Gary Parkes lost steering and ended up in the barrier.

The second day's racing was just as good, and fortunately NO red flags and a little less damage.

Michael - was it you that took the 'emergency' line into Mansfield during the 2nd final? I remember almost parking up at the bottom to wait & see where your cross-country expedition was going to take you! It looked pretty exciting ;-)

Hi Rob. Yes it was. I was surprised coming out of the gooseneck to see so many slow cars so I moved over to the left, got blocked and ended up on the grass. I was CONVINCED I was going to collect some cars ahead, but I managed to get enough braking with 2 wheels on the track to slow down enough for the corner. Fortunately the very intelligent drivers arriving at the apex gave me some room and we all got away with it. But yes, a very exciting moment. I think I may have even made a place up!
