3d printed spaceframe chassis

Very misleading headline.... 3D printed node connectors for carbon tubes.... Interesting, but nothing special imho.
Is that a mechano set?
Another piece of quality journalism from the fail.
Are they saying that some modern cars weigh 6.4 Tons?
I do however like the look of the car.

3D printed space frame you say....? Been there done that:

and the fact that its such a slow process!
It'll come... I'm sure in a few years' time, current 3D printing will look as primitive as the early thermal dot-matrix printers we
used to hook up to our ZX81's look in comparison to modern photo quality printers.
Such lousy journalism is plain embarrassing, whatever the subject, but I guess that anything that raises the profile of a new technology and creates
discussion around it can't be all bad?
Hey Martin,
Some bastard's been in and hacked your LinkedIn profile.
They've put your current job as a Chief Designer at a Racecar company.
We both know there's no way that could be. You work for an architect group, a Design Developers of some sort.
Luckily, I took a screen shot of the whole profile when I first saw it, would you like me to put the screenshot here, so you can fix the hack? Maybe
you remember the true job description that was there, and can put it as it was yourself?
Happy to help when I can.
Cheers,
Nev.

What's happening here is that Nev/Rod/whatever-his-name-is has some sort of personal feud with Sam/Martin/whoever about the quality/validity of
his claimed experience and obviously feels that this forum (among others) is an appropriate place to "call him out".
So basically it's handbags at 40 paces, but conducted over the Internet while a collection of the uninterested watches in confusion. I, for
one, am quite weary of it

My handbag's a soft pink leather item, so I'll have to put a brick in it.
Martin S is Sam_68, and a bullshitter of the lowest order.
I'll leave it there. If Martin chooses to continue, then it's on his own head.
Like you people, I've had enough of him and his twisting of statements to his own ends. So has my cousin on the aussie forum, along with a few
others.
