ey up, can anyone confirm which the bodywork is supposed to rivot down to the box section or the plate on the avon chassis?

Mine's riveted along the plate.

Mine is also rivetted to the underside of the plate.

Mine didn't come anywhere near the plate!!

I had to add a piece of angled aluminium to fix it to.

ta lads, 'll sort summat out!

If it helps I fitted a strip of alloy under the fibre glass and then bolted it through the plate. Aim being to sandwich the body and spread the load.

before attaching it permanently make sure you have the rear whels fittte and adjust the bodywork relative to them....

you will find that the position of the wheels in the arch dictate exactly where you fit the rear lip... whats more it varies from car to car!!!

good luck! its is generally accepted that getting the rear wheels central in the arch is the hardest part of fitting the bodywork!

persevere it will go.. eventually!
