Hello everybody,

Who knows the following:

If you want to use a 2001 2.0i 16v Zetec together with a type 9 gearbox and you want to use the standard 2.0 flywheel which friction disc, pressure plate and release bearing you need to get it all working??

Thanx.

this has been covered before i seem to recall. Not sure where, and zetecs arent something i know anything about. Try searching for zetec! should pull up some results.

Not sure you can use the 2.0 flywheel - think you'll need to move to the 1.8 one (I have)

IIRC the plates you then need are from a 1.8 CVH Sierra, as is the starter.

Bought all my stuff from Dunnell - bit cheaper that Raceline et al.

Michel,
I found this in my archive (thanks to www.zetec-cat.co.uk):
The standard 2.0 litre Zetec flywheel can be used however this is quite heavy. This will require a standard 2.0 Zetec clutch and a clutch release bearing from a 1971-88 Ford Transit 2.4/2.5 diesel (Quinton Hazell part CCT303)

I hope this helps.....

Cheers,
Marcel

try these chris or dave's and read somewhere that the relaese bearing of a cpari could be used, there are 2 types 20 spline or 23 spline ( ford no. 6124271 and 6124270, did spend half an hour at ford looking at photofile sheets)
