Engine Origin ? I bought engine on a private sale got receipt but no idea what donor vehicle reg was. what did you guys put

I put "private purchase from scrapped vehicle".
IE I didn't nick it and there isn't another engine with the same engine number knocking around (hopefully)...

many thanks had hoped it would be something simple to do with dvla at last

Did same with my Zetec Bought it off a mate. Who gt it from a scrap car.

Just got a reciept book and made sure my mate signed it.

And put on the form Private Sale - Reg unknown. But provided a reciept.
