Following on from an earlier post about sound levels from BEC exhausts, I know that my supplied exhaust will be too loud for SVA.
Are you able to fit an after market baffle to the exhaust or will that fail the SVA, I have been looking at fitting something like this:

be aware it might knacker your fueling, shouldn;t be a problem unless you are very borderline on emissions.
What engine is it? an oldy carb model on easy emissions?
Also consider how it will be secured (radius problem?) and also if the end of the end can is a 90 degree bend - if so one of those won't fit.

what is your supplied exhaust and what have other woners done?
Some companies have SVA and MOT exhuasts they rent out. MNR do I belive and dare I say it, so do the BEC Centre!!!
I have my car built and SVA'd for me and I know the company whacked a huge can and cat on for SVA. I then wanted a tiny loud carbon motorbike can
until I went for my first track outing (105db day) and failed at 107.5!
since then I bought a giant 6inch can from MK sportscars for £150. Massively quieter!
