Ive spent about 2 and half hours putting rubber trim and nut caps on my front suspension and only managed to get allmost one side done (given up now), i didnt think it would take this long and i almost super glued myself to my car! Not good, all for bloody SVA and its all going to fall off afterwards anyway Grrr
One should never work alone with super glue without debonder close at hand.
There was a story going around in the model hobby of a chap who spilled some on the floor and stood in it with bare feet while trying to find a rag
to wipe it up. He spent a long lonely night as he also could not reach the phone or his tools.
I worked with the stuff in forensic sciences, nasty stuff.
^^^^ in my experience, that is all it is useful for, bonding human skin to other objects.
I use it for my r/c planes and not the little tubes but in 250ml bottles. Do have to be extremely careful with it and where it’s stored securely and
out of reach from dogs and kids as can you imagine what would happen if it was drank! 
Definitely very easy to become blasé about such things if you use them a lot and forget just how dangerous they really are.
Admittedly I don’t even own any debonder, never needed it as I’m very strict with myself on where I put the bottles. When I was a kid I use to build
the planes in the living room with my folks watching the telly 
was only allowed to do that cos I was soooooo careful about the glues and paints, I
never did get a single drop on the carpet

Id heard the same rumour and some hospitals in this country are using this sort of product for wounds too

Its probably rubbish, but I heard it was developed originally by the US military as an alternative for fields-stitching wounds together.
superglue is great stuff if the right kind (I have 4 different types for my planes) is used on the right materials.
does work on cuts as I've tried it doesn't sting or anything, then later peals off.
If you ever manage to stick your fingers together: soak them in warm soapy water for long enough to make your skin go wrinkly, then ease them apart with something like a teaspoon handle.
Wouldn't be the first time I've used superglue on a cut.
