I am running an OE spec motorbike can on my car and am thinking its a bit loud and was thinking of using one of those db killers (power killer) but has anybody just packed the can with wire wool? and did this work?

just wack a db killer up the pipe and job done.Knocked 6 db off mine at sva.No need to risk the packing and get it wrong.
