yes - so long as the personalised plate doesnt make the car appear newer than the age related one did.

i have throught i got given an age realted plate, but on the note section it says,non transfiable plate.

which i was not happy as i wanted to put a private plate on it.

You CAN put a private plate on it Stuart. What you cant do is then keep your old age related plate to sell on or retain.
