RamAir foam filter on wire frame, hole trimmed. Not questioned at SVA

Just been SVA'd today. I edged the hole with rubber edging and applied self narrow adhesive draught excluder to the top and bottom edge of the filter. (try B & Q or similar for this. Available in brown and white and sometimes called E foam as it is E shaped) Passed no probs. The tester did ask if the edge was less than 2.5mm below the rubber. The rubber will certainly fall off some time though.

I think that's who made my one too.

Bought new from Rally Design for about £25.

Sure a cheaper one could be found somewhere.

Cheers,
