does any-one know if the fireblade was equiped with a factory fitted thatcham approved immobiliser if so what was the earliest year that they were fitted, insurance company is being funny after they've had my money in wanting a thatcham approved immobiliser or they will remove the theft part of the policy. so if pos I want to play them at there own game.

Mine didn't have any alarm or immobiliser fitted I had also to have a Thatcham aprroved one fitted by a recognised installer & send a copy of the installation to the insurance company when I had my Blade. That was a 1998 RRW on a R plate if I remember correctly, one of the best bikes ever built in my humble opinion. Also mate still has a RRM (again I think) on a N reg, no alarm or immobiliser as standard on that either.
