Is it Q plate?
Welcome back!
I had the same issue with my Viento but I decided to get an MOT for a quiet life... Glad I did though - the tester spotted a (very) dented patch on
the front brake line that I couldn't see and failed me plus some wear on some of the rear suspension bushes. I had to replace the line and bushes
but at least I know the car is safe now.

download a v112 form from the VOSA website, fill it in and take it to the post office with ins cert and V5. they did mine on the spot.
oh if you don't know, the v112 form says that your car is exempt from MOT as it was only registered last year.

Looks like you will be needing a V112 form then Graeme assuming its not needed an MOT previously. If it has then its in the system and you will need to get one.
does it make a differance q or not, taxed online last year ok.
its not 3 years old yet.

Ive just read on here that quite a few people have had trouble taxing online with a Q plate.
As said go down the post office but make sure you have a V112 as they wont understand behind the counter otherwise.
