some silly little bits to do a few sharp edges

has anybody got any idea's on speedo out
it reads 70 but actual speed was 84 mph
escort engine, gearbox ,and rear axle
tyres 185x70x13
self centring also needs looking at
noise 105db
but all in not a bad day out

Use a GPS to check it is correct before going back.....

What type for Speedo / Pickup you using .. mechanical / Electrical.

Magnets? Worm Gear? Digital? aftermarket or original Vehicle. Gauge is it New / Old etc?

Well thats not too bad. You now have a list of jobs to do. You should be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

If its cable driven then you probably need a speedo driven gear (the removable one in the gearbox that the cable pushes into) with 2 teeth less than the one that is in there.

Or send the speedo unit to a specialist and get them to re-calibrate it.
