Ok, just phoned em.

Now Ill say from the out set that I have had a claim in the lst 5 years, (1), and I have got an SP30 on my licence. I was told by them that this didnt make a difference to the cost of the policy. Im 44, home owner etc etc

I wanted an agreed value of £16k, (I know its a lot but there is a lot of titanium and carbon in this car plus a dry sumped and fettled Busa!) Garaged, limited mileage of 4k, alarm/immobiliser.

Agreed value had to be 18k, thier call not mine, (something to do with brackets).

£320.....

Now then guys, am I being unrealistic with the valuation? I have all the receipts, (although I ve never had the guts to add them up!!!), most of the body panels Ive taken moulds from the Dax panels and re-made them in pre-preg carbon. Lots of Ti and Alu fixings etc etc. Dry sumped engine has got to be worth £3500???

Bit of a shock with the premium cost to be honest. My gen 3 twin turbo RX7 with over 300bhp cost less to insure!

Easy answer- try phoning Adrian Flux or Footman James and see what they say. Might help put 2gether's quote in perspective.

For that agreed value i would say its a pretty good deal actyually, IMHO of course
