Car sva'd Dec, taxed for 6 months, come to renew online says go away and get a valid mot.

Interesting as when I registered mine at the DVLA in Beverley, the guy would only let me buy 6 months tax as he said the new regulation was that it would need MOTing after 6 months! I discussed it with him but the rules are the rules he said.

I did however manage to tax it online after 6 months though.

I also couldn't get tax on the website or over the phone without an MOT. Went to the post office with my V5C form for proof of age and a V112 MOT Exemption form and walked away with a 12 month tax disk.
