Anyone know if the new SVA manual has been released yet? Going by the draft amendments which were published a while back, it was slated for March
2004. I really need to buy a copy and don't want to get the old one if the new one is just about to become available.
Cheers,
Craig.
craig, i have a cpoy of a manual in adobe acrobat .pdf format - is that any use to you, im not sure how old it is, but im sure that it hasnt changed
that much.
just thought it may be of some help until you buy one
Tom
Tom,
Yes I'd be very interested in a copy to get me by for now. Is it small enough to email or I can I download it from somewhere?
If possible then please email it to locostbuilder@craig.chamberlain.name
Many thanks,
Craig.
SVA Draft Manual available Here
Beware, this is not the complete manual, it only shows pages that are are changing.
Yes thanks I already have the draft amendments hence my original question. Some people (quite rightly) didn't realise that this was only the
changes as it runs to 170 pages or so... This is the main reason I want to get the new manual as they are clearly changing quite a lot albeit some of
it is only for the ESVA which doesn't apply.
Cheers,
Craig.
This doesn't seem to be just the amendments. I think this is now a different file! Check again guys I think this is the full document!
Cheers
Still looks like the draft to me, there are sections like, windscreen and demisters missing. And not all the chapter numbers are there...it goes 1,2,4
etc....
I think its still the draft....could be wrong tho
David
Er oh yeah you numbering argument does seem to make sense. I'm having a crap day... Ignore me
Cheers
Hi,
Yes it is still 178 pages and has the missing chapters so it's not been updated recently as far as I can tell.
I might try to contact VOSA tomorrow if I can find a number. I'll post what they say.
Cheers,
Craig.
...how can the SVA fail a vehicle when they are the only people carrying an up to date Manual - hardly seems fair does it?
