along their length i.e. permanently rendering them un-adjustable.

dax have put cars through with them. Just completely weld them all up once adjusted.

the bearing is held in the middle by circlips. turning the bar pushes the bearing from side to side
When i passed SVA i was told that the bar had to be welded not just pinned so just put a tack on the nut/thread and they were happy with that.
So yes, i passed(SVA) with a welded bias bar.
Just make sure its setup propley before you weld it
