Hi all,
I'm sure this has been covered before but i couldnt find anything.
As certain tests (noise springs to mind) require holding the engine at a set number of revs, is its required to have a rev counter??
I've always assumed it wasnt needed, but now i'm not sure.
No, they will measure it using separate equipment (the emissions machine usually) if you don't have a tacho.
as above they'll have their own equipment
Thanks! Very helpful as usual.
