I have been through the mill with DVLA over the emission limits stated on my V5 front page section 3 special notes, note 2.
on my document it say's SVA Cert issued 17 07 2008 Emissions limit - %CO 3.5; HC 0.12.

Every . is in the same place as on the form, i have questioned DVLA as in my book the HC should be 1200ppm, they referred me to VOSA, VOSA said it should be 1200ppm, back to DVLA, i said " does HC 0.12. on my V5 = 1200ppm?

I even attached a scanned image of the front of the V5

3 emails all answered with "we will will responed within 3 days unless your question requires more investigation."

What do your V5's say before i go forward with a complaint letter.

1200ppm = 0.12%. Same thing?

1200 parts per million
=120 parts per 100 thousand
=12 parts per 10 thousand
=1.2 parts per thousand
=0.12 parts per hundred
=0.12%.

Mine says "SVA cert issued 26 07 2007 Emission limit - AS DOT Publication" what ever that means!

1,200/1,000,000 x 100 is 0.12 %

as ^^^^ says, is correct.
