I seem to remember there was a recent discussion about how side panels should be full length - ie with cut outs for wishbones to go through.
I've looked and can't seem to find reference to this anywhere in the manual but also I can't see it being correct anyway with the likes
of the Ariel Atom on the road?
Anyone care to elaborate?
I've got the shorter panels on my Indy and don't fancy trying to change them
as long as all your exterior projections stuff is met it shouldn't be a problem.
i don't remember any discussions about it. i did make a thread about it as my car has doors which clip on to the chassis and are not hinged. my
idea was to have them as 'removable side panels' and to show it can be driven safely without them i thought i might have to panel up the
sides, but the holes between bars on the chassis are so small you couldn't fit a foot out of it. on the atom you could get a whole leg out and on
to the road i think.
I don't think it was your thread I saw it on, I think it was something to do with MK. Doen all the searches I can think of and still can't find it.
go to search and put in side pannels and username dunk3, i asked about this a few weeks back.

I don't think it was that thread either, I'm sure it was last week or maybe the week before.
Anyways, it looks like it's wrong anyway so I'm fine with that, just couldn't really be 4rsed with making up some end bits, got enough
to be doing as it is if I'm going to make my own self enforced 1 April deadline!!
