I need a valuation on my car to get the aggreed value option on my insurance, anyone done this before and how / where to get it.
same here, i think its a case of go to your local back street arage armed with 6 cans of stella and see what you can wangle on headed paper!

Yes, I got my insurance but still need the valuation.
Will try the suggestions on other thread to get one.
The exaust was second hand but i think, it was from MK origionally. Not 100% on that though.
I think it's nice though and sounds great, just hope SVA man thinks so too !!
I've recently written to our insurance company asking who they consider to be independant and reputable for providing vehicle valuations. Still waiting for a reply.........I'll keep you posted
Does an agreed value have to be independant?
For cars I've previously owned I've agreed a value with the insurance company. This value is then reflected in the premium.
So a £5k car costs less to insure than a £10k car, and you get less back if you write it off. It's also more likely to be written off following
an accident.
