Well after working on the rush yesterday we have a few small items to attend today before the test tomorrow....
1.Wire up the side repeaters fitted to the front wings yesterday.
2.Check the speedo set up on the laptop.
3.make & fit the brake reservoir label.
4. mount the fog light slightly higher (its just under 250mm to the lower edge)
Hope this is it, i'm pretty sure i'll get a fail but who knows..... wish me luck!
Best of luck buddy for tommorrow.
Cheers
Rich

IVA Report
Well had a posative day today with the IVA, we have a Fail but a good one.
The 3 thinks that i thought would be a problem were fine:
1. Noise - fine 98.5 db (limit was 99db!)
2. Emissions - fine (not sure of the reading but it was to meet up to date regs)
3. Brakes - passed where i set the balance bar to, although i didn't render it immobile incase i needed to adjust it, so will need to weld it up
now where it is.
Fail points were:
1. Fuel tank not fully seperated from passener compartment. - The tank was enclosed as std dax supplied panels but the filler neck is open to the
under dash area and also needs to be boxed in. (anyone else had this with their MC Rush?)
2.Mirror mounts need an additional fixing at the top as they vibrate when driving, bluring the view in the mirrors.
3.Brake Balace bar not imobalised.
4.brake reservoir sticker didn't have a yellow background.
5.HT leads had no markings.
6. Paddle shift socked under dash was not radiused (will move it somewhere else where it will be exempt).
7.exterior items which also need radius attention:
- side repeter lens
- paddle shifter edge behind steering wheel (as there was no windscreen, the area behind the steering wheel is no longer exempt).
- bonnet catches - dax covers were not deamed permanent enough - held on by velcro.
8. some issues with tell tales for the hazzard and some other gremlins in the lighting controls - main beam and rear fog wouldn't latch on
(switch latches but lights go out when you release your finger?)
All are easy to fix so a few evenings over the next couple of weeks should see it done hopefully.
I Must say That the tester Doug at Leighton Buzzard was very good and thorough also offered sugesstions made the experiance a pleasure.
When he tester drove the car around the site, it looked and sounded great! cant wait to get it passed and registered, i think i'll drive to the
re-test
